Tax Credits for Employers
Employers get up to $4,000 per child per year when they provide childcare. The closer the childcare to work, the bigger the credit. Up to $500,000 per employer.
Closer is Better
Onsite childcare gets the biggest credit. Walking distance gets the next. Driving distance still qualifies. Parents stay close to their kids all day.
Parents Can Visit
Employers must let parents visit kids during lunch and breaks. Parents can leave work immediately for emergencies. No punishment for being a good parent.
Paid for by CEO Pay Limits
Companies can only deduct $500,000 of executive pay (down from $1 million). This pays for the childcare credits. No cost to regular taxpayers.

Tier 1: Onsite Childcare
Childcare in the same building or campus as work. Parents can walk there without a car. Maximum credit for maximum proximity.
Tier 2: Walking Distance
Childcare within half a mile of work. Safe walking route on sidewalks. Parents can walk over during breaks.
Tier 3: Short Drive
Childcare within 5 miles of work by road. Quick drive to respond to emergencies. Still close enough to check in.

Employers must let parents visit their children at the childcare facility during lunch and other approved breaks. Stay connected all day.

All facilities must have controlled access, background-checked staff, and meet state and local safety codes. Your kids are protected.
